Trying my hand at something new

Jewelry making has taken up most of my creative energy for the better part of 40 years. I still love it and teaching my techniques to others has been a joy for many of those years. Lately, though, I have been looking to spread my wings a bit. I’m still making jewelry and teaching but I am also painting. I like this gentler quiet pursuit and I’m learning more with each painting. I find that texture and color are still primary factors for me. I guess some things never change. I hope that some of my jewelry fans will by touched by some of the paintings. I don’t yet know where this path will lead but I’m pretty excited to be on it. I would love to know what you think.
